1、 How to deal with the corrosion of fine engraving and milling guide rail

There are many kinds of CNC machine tools. As a typical representative, meticulous engraving and milling has been deeply concerned by users. The machine tool can not only carve manually, but also cut. The guide rail is a very important part of the machine tool. Once the guide rail is rusted, it should be handled in time. How to deal with it?

Fine engraving and milling generally use linear guide rail. This kind of guide rail has very high precision and high surface gloss. Many people may think it is made of stainless steel. In fact, this kind of linear guide rail can not be processed and produced with stainless steel. The material of the guide rail is basically the raw material with iron as the main element, so it is easy to rust.

During operation, if we don't pay attention, the guide rail may be rusted. After the guide rail is rusted, we should deal with it in time. When the guide rail has rusted, it needs to be treated according to the severity of corrosion.

If the degree of corrosion is not serious, the impact on the machine tool is not great. Generally, the corrosion is due to the problem of lubricating oil supply. We need to check whether the oil circuit is smooth and whether the oil pipe is broken. Dredge the blocked oil circuit and replace the broken oil pipe. If the corrosion is caused by the cutting fluid dripping on the guide rail surface, these dripping cutting fluids need to be wiped clean.

If the guide rail is seriously rusted, it should be handled privately at this time, and personnel should be allowed to handle it.

At ordinary times, we need to do a good job in the rust prevention of carving and milling guide rails. We should try our best to maintain the guide rails according to the correct methods. Once the guide rails are found to be rusty, we should deal with them immediately without delay, so as to avoid serious corrosion and excessive maintenance costs.

2、 Precautions for the use of antifreeze for carving and milling parts

In industrial production, the use frequency of fine carving and milling parts is relatively high. However, in winter, due to the reduction of ambient temperature, it is easy to cause the equipment to fail to start. In order to confirm that the equipment can be used normally in cold winter, it is recommended to use antifreeze to prevent the equipment from freezing. However, the use of antifreeze is particular. Let's introduce the precautions for the use of antifreeze.

Carving and milling machine manufacturers tell you: when selecting antifreeze, it needs to be combined with the local weather conditions. It does not mean that the lower the freezing point, the better the antifreeze effect will be. If the ambient temperature is really low, you can choose antifreeze with lower temperature than the local weather.

When choosing antifreeze, we should also pay attention to all aspects of word-of-mouth. The product quality of the products that should be used should be protected. Antifreeze with different word-of-mouth should not be mixed, because the antifreeze products of each manufacturer are different in many regions. When preparing antifreeze, the ratio of water to antifreeze is 7:3.

In order to ensure that the antifreeze is not frozen in the low-temperature environment, do not arbitrarily interrupt the power supply when using the carefully carved and milled parts, and the water temperature should be maintained at about 5 ~ 10 degrees. In this way, the antifreeze can be in continuous circulation.

Although antifreeze can well avoid the damage of fine carving and milling parts by low temperature, it does not mean that self antifreeze can completely replace water, and antifreeze can not be used for a long time. Antifreeze can not be used when the ambient temperature is high.

When antifreeze is not used, clean water or deionized water should be used to clean the pipeline, especially if the equipment needs to be idle for a period of time, and the water in the pipeline needs to be drained.
